DVDC: WORKSHOP: Data Visualization with AI is a hands-on event hosted by Data Viz DC in partnership with the Ballston BID. Bring a laptop to participate in guided exercises that demonstrate converting raw data into actionable visuals, exploring prompts, model outputs, and interpretation strategies in a human-centered workflow.

Agenda

  • 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Registration and welcome remarks, followed by a hands-on, interactive workshop. Attendees will work with a local dataset to build visualizations that clearly communicate insights.
  • Live demonstrations: applying AI methods to generate and refine charts, dashboards, and narrative visuals.
  • Short practice breaks and refreshment break provided by Ballston BID.
  • Q&A and wrap-up: discuss practical considerations, accessibility, and how to integrate AI-powered visuals into everyday workflows.
