The four must-haves

Most rejections come down to one of these. Meet all four and you’re most of the way there.

1A real software productOnline, functional and actively being built. Early MVPs and betas count.
2It works todayCore features are live and usable when you submit, and they work as described.
3Reliable qualityNo critical bugs, and an interface that’s usable and reasonably polished.
4Safe and ethicalNothing harmful, illegal or deceptive. NSFW products are always rejected.

What we list

Any software product that solves a real problem, AI-powered or not.

We list

  • Early-stage MVPs
  • Live tools and applications
  • Products in active development
  • SaaS, web and mobile apps
  • Developer tools and browser extensions
  • Software that doesn’t use AI

We don’t list

  • Courses, ebooks or educational resources
  • Physical products or hardware
  • Non-functional demos or prototypes
  • Services or agencies without a software product
  • Clones without meaningful differentiation
  • NSFW products

Guidelines in detail

Items marked Required are the ones we check first.

1. Functionality

  • Your product is fully functional and operational when you submit it.Required
  • Explain clearly what it does and the problem it solves.
  • Every feature you describe works as intended.
  • Betas are welcome, as long as core features are live and usable.

2. Description and metadata

  • Write a clear, concise description: what it does, who it’s for, and why it matters.
  • Add relevant keywords and tags so people can find it.
  • Pick the categories and topics that fit.
  • Add screenshots, a demo video or a live preview. They make a big difference.

3. Product quality

  • It meets a reasonable standard of quality and works reliably, without critical bugs.Required
  • The interface is usable and reasonably polished.
  • Developer tools have documentation or a README.
  • Mobile apps are live on the App Store or Google Play, or have a working web version.

4. Pricing and terms

  • State your pricing model: free, freemium, paid, one-time or subscription.
  • Don’t misrepresent pricing. A product listed as Free needs a genuinely free tier.
  • Link to your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy if you collect user data.

5. Support and maintenance

  • Give people a way to reach you for support, such as email, chat or a support portal.
  • Keep your product maintained and updated.
  • We may unpublish abandoned or unmaintained products.

6. Ethics

  • It doesn’t promote or enable harmful, illegal or malicious activity.Required
  • It isn’t NSFW. NSFW products are always rejected.Required
  • Be open about what data you collect, your privacy practices and how you use people’s data.
  • Deceptive or manipulative products, and ones that break users’ trust, are rejected.
  • If it uses AI, say so, and be clear about its limitations and possible biases.

7. Originality

  • You own the product, or you’re authorized to list it.
  • Clones of existing products without meaningful differentiation are rejected.

The AINave team may reject or unpublish any product that doesn’t align with our values and these guidelines.

Frequently asked questions

How long does review take?

Usually a few minutes after you submit. If your product is still under review after 30 minutes, tell us.

What types of products do you accept?

All software products, including SaaS apps, mobile apps, web tools, developer tools, browser extensions and AI-powered products. If it’s a working software product that solves a real problem, it’s likely a good fit.

Why is my product already on AINave? I never submitted it.

Besides reviewing submissions, our team scouts high-quality products from across the internet. If we found yours that way, we may have added it ourselves. You can claim it to manage the listing.

How do I claim a product that’s already listed?

Open its page and choose Claim. Enter your company email, an address on the product’s own domain, and type in the code we send. The listing is yours right away. If the website is on a shared host or a store page, send us a claim request instead.

Can I submit a product that doesn’t use AI?

Yes. We welcome all software products, not only AI-powered ones. If it solves a real problem, we’d like to list it.
