2026 Agile Open Unconference

Overview

Are you looking for a place to share your knowledge and get new inspiration for Agile ways of working? Are you looking to co-create fresh insights with fellow professionals and friends old & new? Come to Weesp, Friday September 18th! Trailblazers is organising a one-day Open Space conference where all Agile subjects are welcome in the broadest sense. The theme this year is Human-Centric Agility in the Era of AI. At Trailblazers we love people, sharing knowledge, and the Open Space concept. Partners include Natalia Gulchevskaya and Richard Metcalf. Open Space is a framework that lets people self-organise and quickly create a diverse and engaging program for the conference.

What to expect

The event uses the Open Space format, where attendees write topics on big post-its and present them to the group. Participants then book time-slots to lead sessions. People can move between sessions, join for the entire hour, or switch as the day unfolds. Around noon there will be lunch, and the day concludes with a retrospective and drinks. Experienced facilitators will help everyone get the most from the day. There is also a game night, and for those who wish to stay, dinner and further games after the Agile Open.

• Open Space agenda creation: attendees submit ideas, select spaces and time slots, and self-organise the day.
• Morning sessions start after a welcome and setup; participants can join, host, or move between sessions.
• Lunch around midday.
• Afternoon sessions continue, followed by a retrospective and drinks.
• A game night is available as a social capstone to the day.
• Optional dinner for staying participants with additional activities.
