What is Cookiefines?
Cookiefines.eu is the largest open-source database dedicated exclusively to European cookie and privacy enforcement actions. It tracks over 5,400 fines, warnings, and sanctions issued by data protection authorities across 33 countries, covering enforcement under GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and national privacy legislation.\ Each enforcement record includes the issuing authority, country, date, fine amount, legal basis, violated articles, and a summary of the decision. Records are individually sourced and linked to official regulatory publications where available. The entire dataset is maintained under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, making it freely accessible for non-commercial use, research, and journalism.
