Overview

The Turing Test Hackathon 2026 is Mantle’s two phase AI and Web3 competition designed to advance autonomous agents on a live on-chain environment. Hosted in collaboration with Bybit, Byreal, Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), and DoraHacks, the event invites global AI developers and Web3 builders to deploy agentic AI on Mantle’s distribution layer. The hackathon aims to benchmark AI agent performance in a transparent on-chain setting, with every decision and outcome permanently recorded on Mantle. Sponsors include Tencent Cloud, Mirana Ventures, Open Check, Nansen, Animoca Brands, and more, reflecting a broad ecosystem backing. The competition emphasizes collaboration between AI innovation and on-chain infrastructure to shape the next generation of decentralized finance and autonomous agents.

Mantle positions itself as a premier gateway for institutions to access on-chain liquidity and real world assets. The event is powered by Mantle Network and supported by a coalition of ecosystem partners across Web3 and AI. The Hackathon is designed to attract the world’s most creative AI developers and sharpest Web3 strategists who want to define the future of decentralized intelligence. The program highlights an ambitious prize pool and multiple tracks that explore AI trading, data analytics, tokenized assets, consumer DApps, developer tools, and agent economies.

Structure and Tracks

The Turing Test Hackathon unfolds in two phases. Phase 1, known as ClawHack, launched on April 15 with a $20,000 prize pool and focuses on deploying AI agents to execute on-chain strategies across Mantle’s DeFi ecosystem through RealClaw, the AI agent trading platform built by Byreal on Mantle. Phase 1 runs through April 30 and emphasizes trading volume and ROI as evaluation metrics. Phase 2, AI Awakening, carries a $100,000 prize pool and introduces a Human vs AI mechanism across six tracks: AI Trading and Strategy, AI Alpha and Data, AI x RWA, Consumer and Viral DApps, AI DevTools, and Agentic Wallets and Economy. Each track outlines concrete goals, such as AI quant bots, data analytics, on-chain anomaly detection, dynamic yield strategies, consumer-facing trading interfaces, gas optimization, and agent economy constructs.

Judging and Transparency

A distinguished judging panel from leading organizations including Allora Network, BGA, Nansen, Z.ai, Four Pillar, Animoca Brands, DoraHacks, Elfa AI, Virtuals Protocol, Hashed, Caladan, and an academic from the University of Hong Kong will evaluate submissions. Three defining features of the Hackathon include on-chain benchmarking of AI, the ERC-8004 agent identity standard granting unique on-chain identities to AI agents, and radical transparency through live streaming of the AI Awakening phase to ensure verifiable fairness and an open benchmark for the broader AI and Web3 community.

Who Should Attend

The event targets AI developers, Web3 engineers, researchers, and product teams ready to explore autonomous agents that operate in real-time with on-chain evidence. Mantle invites participants to join the AI Awakening to demonstrate talent on a global stage, with virtual participation and a detailed registration page provided on DoraHacks.
