Overview
PlatformCon presents PC26 Live Day SF and Valley, a hands-on, in-person conference focused on platform engineering and the AI agent ecosystem. The event takes place in San Francisco at Convene, located at 100 Stockton Street, and is designed for platform teams, engineers, product leaders, and enterprise practitioners who are actively building and operating agent powered systems. The program centers on the age of AI running on platforms, with a strong emphasis on how to design, deploy, and govern agentic workflows at scale. Attendees will experience a mix of keynote content, practical sessions, workshops, and interactive tracks centered on platform engineering, developer productivity, security, governance, and FinOps for AI agents.
Agenda and sessions
The Live Day features a curated program with multiple tracks and session formats across two days from February 24 to February 25, 2027. The opening keynote frames the event around the maturation of agentic platforms and what it means for enterprise engineering. The program includes focused discussions on the Agentic Development Platform, secure environments for agent execution, and cost aware platform operations. Planned tracks include:
- Tooling and Platform Engineering: architecture, control planes, and developer experience for agentic workflows.
- Security, Identity and Governance: identity management, access control, compliance, and audit trails for enterprise scale.
- Observability and Metrics: postmortems, telemetry, and cost attribution for multi team AI initiatives.
- Platform Strategy and Product Thinking: platform as a product, internal governance, and organizational design for platform adoption.
- Hands-on Workshops and Roundtables: practical labs and interactive sessions to prototype agent driven solutions.
The schedule outlines a sequence of keynote talks, breakout sessions, and hands-on demonstrations across main stages and dedicated workshop rooms. Notable session themes include building a secure sandbox for untrusted agent code, real-world enterprise case studies, cost optimization strategies in AI powered platforms, and session-led deep dives on governance and security practices. A lunch break and networking opportunities are planned mid-day, complemented by a booth crawl to explore partner ecosystem offerings.
Format and venue
The event is in-person, held at Convene SF, with a physical venue designed for large-scale collaboration and hands-on learning. The site features multiple stages, workshop rooms, and a dedicated area for sponsor demonstrations and partner interactions. The program emphasizes actionable outcomes, translating learnings into plug-and-play patterns for teams to adopt upon return to their organizations. Get tickets via the event page and prepare for a day of immersive content, followed by networking and informal discussions.
