Overview
AI Infra Summit 6 is a one-day, in-person conference focused on the infrastructure that powers artificial intelligence. It takes place on December 9, 2026, from 9 AM to 5 PM at The Midway in San Francisco. The event is organized by IgniteGTM and is the sixth edition of the AI Infra Summit series. The organizers position it as a working gathering for people who build, finance, and scale AI infrastructure, rather than a general hype-driven expo.
What the event covers
The summit centers on the physical and economic foundations of AI, including GPUs, liquid cooling, sovereign clouds, and edge AI. The organizers highlight five key themes for the program:
- Scaling GenAI stacks across clouds
- Liquid cooling and energy optimization for 200kW+ racks
- Token economics and cost-per-inference strategy
- Data center sovereignty and national AI infrastructure strategies
- Edge-to-core infrastructure for autonomous agents
Agenda and format
The event is structured as a single day with a tight 15-minute main-stage cadence. The day also includes curated breakout sessions, live demonstrations, one-on-one deal-flow meetings, giveaways, and open networking time. Sessions are moderated and timed, and the organizers state that the program avoids filler content. The day closes with a happy hour and an afterparty.
The program is built around sessions sourced from operators who are shipping infrastructure and from investors who are funding it. The organizers note that they do not use recycled panels or pay-to-play keynotes. Previous editions have progressed from foundations and sovereign AI in 2024, to the token economy and energy in 2025, to 200kW racks and cost-per-inference, and then to stranded power and agentic enterprises in 2026.
For the sixth edition, the main-stage topics listed on the page include the state of AI infrastructure, the ecosystem flywheel behind AI infrastructure demand, rethinking enterprise infrastructure for agentic AI, stranded power and the AI energy breakthrough, co-packaged optics and liquid cooling, going beyond the GPU, operating models for enterprise AI, and AC to DC power for the AI era.
Speakers
The page lists a large speaker lineup from companies across the AI infrastructure ecosystem, including hardware, cloud, networking, software, and venture capital. Named speakers include Dean Nelson of Infrastructure Masons, Carl Brown of Supermicro, Jeremiah Owyang of Blitzscaling, Kyle Sosnowski of Crusoe, Joo-Young Kim of HyperAccel, Luke Norris of Kamiwaza, Vik Malyala of Supermicro, Duncan Ng of Vultr, Lukas Gentele of vCluster, Jay Jubran of IBM, Vaughn Stewart of Vast Data, and Robert Scoble of Unaligned, among others. Speakers come from roles such as CEO, founder, VP of engineering, chief data center officer, managing partner, and CTO.
Who should attend
The summit is aimed at chief executives and other senior leaders, infrastructure architects, engineers, operators, founders, and investors working in or around AI infrastructure. Attendees who want to hear from practitioners about real deployments, and who want to build partnerships or identify investment opportunities, are the intended audience.
Partnerships and sponsorship
The organizers offer sponsorship and speaking opportunities. Sponsor packages are described as selling out quickly. Existing partners and sponsors listed on the page include Stadium, Shift, and Bronze level supporters, along with several media partners. Previous editions have been backed by companies such as AMD, Supermicro, WEKA, Microsoft, Zscaler, BP, Vultr, Nutanix, Inflection AI, and Recogni.
Past editions
The organizers report that the series has brought together more than 1,000 attendees at a single summit and more than 10,000 registrants since its inception. Post-event feedback praised the organization, the speaker cadence, and the networking opportunities. Attendees also suggested more audience interaction, such as live polling and question submission, and a closing roundup to address unanswered questions.
Registration and contact
Registration is handled through luma.com/aiinfra6. Questions can be sent to events@ignitegtm.com. The event is held in person at The Midway, San Francisco, and the page does not list an online option.
