Overview
DevFest Münster 2026 is a community-driven developer event organized by GDG Münster. It takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the vhs Münster (Volkshochschule) at Aegidiistraße 70, 48143 Münster. The event is an Agentic AI Hackathon titled "Build, Secure, Scale" and centers on the theme "Developers and Builders in the Agentic Era." It explores Google tools and technologies, autonomous workflows, and the future of software creation. Admission is free, but registration with a ticket is required.
The program covers Firebase Genkit, Vertex AI Agent Builder, Project IDX, Gemini, Gemma, Flutter, Google Cloud, and related tools such as n8n and the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).
Who should attend
The event is designed for software engineers, developers at all experience levels, and builders who use low-code platforms such as Google AppSheet or n8n to automate workflows. Tech enthusiasts who want hands-on experience with AI agents are also welcome. Participants do not need prior experience building AI agents.
Format
The event is in person and combines a hackathon with workshops, talks, mentorship, and networking. Participants can choose one of two equally supported paths:
- Build with Agents: Use agentic AI tools such as Antigravity, Google AI Studio, or Gemini as a pair programmer to build a Flutter application, a web service, or a cloud backend.
- Build an Agent or Workflow: Build an autonomous agent, tool-calling pipeline, or smart workflow using n8n, the Google ADK, or Firebase Genkit. Connect LLMs to APIs, databases, Google Sheets, or internal tools.
Ticket holders receive access to hackathon activities, hands-on workshops, mentorship, meals, and swag.
Agenda
The event runs from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (GMT+1), which matches 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (UTC) on the listing. The schedule includes:
