Overview
AI4ALL’s beginner-friendly, in-person masterclass is a practical introduction to building an app with AI. Participants will work hands-on to create a live app from a blank page in one session, with no coding experience required. The event is designed as an interactive workshop rather than a lecture, and attendees will leave with an app they have built and can use.
The masterclass is organized by AI 4 ALL and takes place at Nieuwe Herengracht 95 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It runs on Thursday, October 29, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, for a total of three and a half hours.
What you’ll learn
The session covers what it means to build with AI and how to write an initial prompt, then improve it to shape an app. Participants will explore both beginner and more advanced prompting. The workshop also includes publishing the app and taking a tour through what has been created.
Practical app concepts are explained along the way, including databases, user authentication, custom domains, and hosting. The trainer will compare building with Biscuit to building from scratch, using low-code or no-code tools, and working with Claude Code or Codex. Attendees will also learn the basics of building and maintaining an app, and create an internal tool as part of the experience. A bonus activity is building an internal tool to capture leads.
Trainer and platform
The workshop is led by Maria Martin, Founding Product Manager at Biscuit. Maria has 12 years of experience in product and customer success roles, including seven years as a Product Manager. She began building independently with AI and has two live apps, with more in progress.
Biscuit is described as a shared workspace where technical and non-technical teams can build internal apps, websites, dashboards, automations, and AI assistants. Its tools are intended to be accessible to the team, with data access, permissions, and an audit trail, rather than being confined to one person’s subscription or spreadsheet.
Format and audience
This is an in-person, interactive session for anyone curious about building with AI. No prior coding experience is needed. Participants will build alongside the trainer, practice prompting, and work toward publishing a usable app. The workshop concludes with a live Q&A.
