Overview
UiPath AgentHack is a global online hackathon organized for developers, automation engineers, data scientists, AI engineers, students, and professionals who want to push beyond basic automation. The event runs over seven weeks and centers on building real, agentic solutions using the UiPath Platform. Teams design, build, deploy, and orchestrate AI agents that operate across enterprise environments, with UiPath serving as the orchestration and governance layer. The challenge emphasizes production-ready implementations rather than concepts, encouraging integration with frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, and AutoGen. A substantial prize pool and multiple tracks incentivize practical, end-to-end demonstrations of agentic automation.
Tracks and Focus
There are three main tracks designed to address distinct enterprise needs:
- Track 1: UiPath Maestro Case — Build dynamic, exception-heavy case management solutions that move work through stages with human and machine handoffs. Your solution should coordinate humans, robots, and agents, with humans retaining control at key decision points. Scenarios include complex workflows like insurance claims processing, patient care coordination, and HR onboarding.
- Track 2: UiPath Maestro BPMN — Model and run end-to-end business processes using BPMN 2.0 in UiPath Maestro. The orchestration covers humans, robots, agents, and APIs, with clear tasks, decisions, and handoffs. Use cases include order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes, where orchestration across ERP and CRM systems is critical.
- Track 3: UiPath Test Cloud — Create agents that leverage UiPath Test Cloud to design, automate, and manage software testing in modern enterprise environments. The goal is to improve quality across AI-driven automations and enterprise apps, with agents that generate test scenarios, identify fragile tests, and suggest fixes while coordinating tests based on risk and coverage.
What you will build
Participants are expected to deliver a working prototype running on UiPath Automation Cloud. Submissions should include a Devpost page with a track selection, a detailed description, and visuals, a demo video (up to five minutes) showing the running solution, a public GitHub repository with setup instructions, and a completed presentation deck. Bonus points are offered for integrating coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI) alongside low-code components, or combining UiPath-native agents with external agents.
Timeline and What to Expect
The challenge spans seven weeks, featuring community meetups, office hours, and enablement resources to help teams ramp up. Final submission requires a working end-to-end prototype, a descriptive submission, and evidence of real execution on the UiPath platform. The prize pool totals $50,000 in cash, with multiple prize categories including Grand Prize, Best of UiPath Maestro Case, and others, plus opportunities for exposure within UiPath events and blog features.
Getting Started and Eligibility
Interested participants should register on Devpost for UiPath AgentHack, form or join a team of 1 to 4 people, and select a track. UiPath Labs access is available to teams, and an access form helps allocate the necessary resources. Finalists may need to publish their solution as a use case on the UiPath community forum. This event is online and accessible to a global audience, with participation open to many regions while noting some regional exclusions in the rules.
