Overview
State of Analytics in the Age of AI is a free online afternoon event for chief data officers, heads of business intelligence, analytics leaders and others responsible for organisational data and analytics. The programme examines how organisations can make analytics reliable and useful as AI becomes part of everyday work with data. It is curated and chaired by Ben Clinch of Clinch Data Services.
The event focuses on the foundational work behind trustworthy AI outputs: understanding inherited dashboards, reports and data pipelines; preserving useful institutional knowledge; establishing clean definitions and trusted metrics; and building context that supports AI-generated results. Sessions will consider what current analytics practices can carry forward, what needs to change, and how leaders can make informed decisions about investment, platforms and the future of their analytics estate.

The event takes place online on 22 October 2026, from 14:00 to 18:00 BST. Attendance is free. The published agenda includes presentations, live audience questions and a panel discussion.
