Overview
React Summit is an annual conference about the React ecosystem, modern web development, and the growing impact of AI on it. It gathers thousands of front-end and full-stack engineers from around the world. The 2027 edition takes place in Amsterdam on May 21 and May 25, 2027, in a hybrid format that lets participants attend in person or remotely. The organizers describe it as the biggest React conference worldwide, with two tracks called Base Camp and Summit, more than 60 speakers, and over 10,000 developers from across the globe.
Format
The event is organized over several days. On May 21 (Friday), the in-person and remote React Summit day starts at 9:00 CEST for in-person attendees and at 13:00 CEST for remote viewers, with hybrid networking and interactive elements. May 22 (Saturday) is a hangout day with boat and walking tours of Amsterdam, where hybrid ticket holders receive an invite link and registration is required. May 25 (Tuesday) is a remote day with streaming of both tracks, speaker Q&A sessions, discussion rooms, and an afterparty. Workshops are held before and after the conference days, including free remote workshops and paid PRO full-day workshops.
