Overview
The betterCode() Agentic AI 2026 conference is a live online event focused on agentic AI and large language models (LLMs) and their impact on modern software development. Held on 6 October 2026, the conference surveys how Agentic AI can support developers, with a special emphasis on legacy modernization, system understanding, and the evolving role of teams in AI-enabled environments. The content targets developers, team leads, architects, and technical decision makers who want to learn practical approaches to integrating AI into workflows, modernizing existing codebases, and orchestrating AI-powered processes across an organization.
Agenda
The program centers on two core themes: Legacy modernization and team dynamics in AI aided environments. The day features sessions that explore methods for evolving legacy systems using knowledge graphs and agentic AI, practical experiences from real projects, and findings from AI orchestration within development teams. Attendees can expect talks that move from concept to concrete steps, including discovery and migration strategies, code-to-knowledge journeys, and how to align tooling, leadership, and developer practices with AI capabilities. A series of short talks, longer sessions, and interactive opportunities are included, followed by a collaborative closing segment. The event emphasizes online participation, with sessions and discussions accessible through the conference platform.
Format
The event is online and browser-based, designed to be accessible from home or the office without additional software installation. Attendees can participate via chat and video, with opportunities for Q&A and knowledge sharing. The agenda includes a mix of presentations, case studies, and practical workshops that illustrate end-to-end workflows for AI-assisted legacy modernization and team orchestration. A PDF program and on-demand materials are referenced for attendees who wish to review content after the sessions.
Speakers
The program features practitioners and experts in AI-enabled software development, including representatives from MaibornWolff, QAware, Hermes, and codecentric. Speakers discuss topics such as knowledge graphs, AI-driven legacy discovery, and practical experiences in implementing AI as an orchestration layer across development teams. Biographical details and session-specific speaker information are provided in the program materials.
